This policy describes how ClearView handles information when you use the app. ClearView is a tool that helps parents understand the content of movies and TV shows before watching them.
Nothing on our servers. ClearView does not operate accounts, databases, or user profiles. We do not log your IP address, device information, or usage patterns.
Local search history. When you search for a title, it is saved to your browser's localStorage so it appears as a recent search next time. This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time using the Clear all option in the search bar.
To provide content breakdowns, your searches are sent to two external services. By using ClearView you acknowledge that these services process your search queries under their own privacy policies.
ClearView does not use cookies, analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or any third-party tracking tools. There are no adverts on this site.
ClearView is a tool for parents and does not knowingly collect any information from children. No personal information of any kind is collected from any user, regardless of age.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the updated date at the top of this page will reflect that. Continued use of ClearView after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
