📋 What this policy covers

This policy describes how ClearView handles information when you use the app. ClearView is a tool that helps parents understand the content of movies and TV shows before watching them.

💾 What we collect

Nothing on our servers. ClearView does not operate accounts, databases, or user profiles. We do not log your IP address, device information, or usage patterns.

Local search history. When you search for a title, it is saved to your browser's localStorage so it appears as a recent search next time. This data never leaves your device and can be deleted at any time using the Clear all option in the search bar.

🔗 Third-party services

To provide content breakdowns, your searches are sent to two external services. By using ClearView you acknowledge that these services process your search queries under their own privacy policies.

TMDb
Provides movie and TV show metadata, ratings, and streaming information.

Groq
